The Signet CD3 antibody recognizes the ε-chain of T cell associated CD3 antigen. The expression of the CD3 antigen is detectable in early thymocytes and is assumed to be an early indication of commitment to a T cell lineage. The subcellular localization of CD3 is predominantly intracytoplasmic in cortical thymocytes and membrane-based in medullary thymocytes. CD3 antigen is present in a majority of T cell neoplasms. This antibody was developed using a BSA-conjugated peptide (156-168 amino acids). Prediluted Format: SIG-3625-26 [6 mL] is ready-to-use with Biotin-based detection systems such as Signet's USA Ultrastreptavidin Detection (SIG-32250). |
