| 产品介绍 | Function: RNA-binding protein that acts as a regulator of alternative pre-mRNA splicing. Involved in apoptotic cell death through the regulation of the apoptotic factor BCL2L1 isoform expression. Modulates the ratio of proapoptotic BCL2L1 isoform S to antiapoptotic BCL2L1 isoform L mRNA expression. When overexpressed, stimulates proapoptotic BCL2L1 isoform S 5'-splice site (5'-ss) selection, whereas its depletion caused the accumulation of antiapoptotic BCL2L1 isoform L. Promotes BCL2L1 isoform S 5'-ss usage through the 5'-CGGGCA-3' RNA sequence. Its association with LUC7L3 promotes U1 snRNP binding to a weak 5' ss in a 5'-CGGGCA-3'-dependent manner. Binds to the exonic splicing enhancer 5'-CGGGCA-3' RNA sequence located within exon 2 of the BCL2L1 pre-mRNA. Subcellular Location: Nucleus speckle. Cytoplasm. Colocalizes predominantly, with SFRS2 and LUC7L3 splicing factors, in nuclear speckles. Cytoplasmic localization is faint. Post-translational modifications: Sumoylated. RNA结合蛋白作为调节前mRNA剪接的调节因子。通过调节凋亡因子BCL2L1亚型表达参与凋亡细胞死亡。调节凋亡细胞BC2L1亚型S与抗凋亡BC2L1亚型L mRNA表达的比值。当过表达时，刺激凋亡前BCL2L1亚型S 5’-剪接位点（5’-ss）的选择，而它的耗尽导致抗凋亡BCL2L1亚型L的积累。通过5’-CGGGCA-3’RNA序列促进BCL2L1亚型S 5’-ss的使用。它与LUC7L3的结合促进了U1 SNRNP与弱5’SS的结合，以5’-CGGGCA-3’依赖的方式结合。结合外显子剪接增强子5’-CGGGCA-3’RNA序列位于BCL2L1前mRNA的外显子2内。
